Disney Has Very Clean Bathrooms...

It's already begun.
And I'm excited.
Not as much as Zoe and Gigi are, though.
I've started looking into our Disney vacation next year.
Can I get a "Holla!" up in here?!

My first trip to Disney was when I was 11 or something like that.
I thought Epcot was a drag and there was no Tower of Terror.
Can we say Disney was boring in the '80's?

My next trip was when Zoe was 3 1/2 years old and I was 7 1/2 months pregnant.
We had already planned the trip when I discovered I was pregnant, so I soldiered on.
Really, who am I kidding...I waddled on.
Trudged my big stomach through the parks and came out with swollen ankles and a sore back.
I cried silent tears as everyone else got to ride the roller coasters, hit the safari at Animal Kingdom, ate French cheese at Epcot.
I, instead, rode the Nemo clam shell ride 46 times, did lots of unnecessary shopping, and scoured each park we were in for the next toilet to relieve my bladder from the fat baby head who was pressing on it.

So, this time we are all going to be our normal weights.
I will ride every roller coaster twice.
I will drink beer in Germany at Epcot.
I will rock Disney and embarrass my kids with my enthusiasm at the character meals.

It's not going to happen until next Fall.
But those in the know understand that you need to start planning today for a Disney trip next year.
There are some new changes at Disney now.
My favorite princess (YES, I have a favorite princess!) is Belle and The Magic Kingdom has a whole new Beauty and the Beast area.
I can't wait to see it!

This will probably be the last Disney trip for a long time.
There's so much to see in the U.S. and we will start vacationing elsewhere.
Hit some National Parks.
Take the girls to D.C. And NYC.
But while they are still young and sweet and think princesses are the bomb, we will tromp ourselves down to Florida and spend exorbitant amounts of money on Sleeping Beauty mugs, Buzz Lightyear keychains, and Mickey Mouse light up doohickeys.

  1. LOVE IT! I can totally relate to every part of this post - not being able to ride the rides you want...to planning months in advance...to knowing we need to check out the "real" world on vacation but really loving the ease and magic of Disney vaca!

Keep us posted on your planning!
