A Thank You

The end of the year is closing in on us.
I'm going to inundate my blog with thanks and thoughts of this past year.
It was our first entire year of cancer.  It was a doozy for sure.
We have a new year of cancer waiting for us in 2012.
We are hoping that it flies by and the end will arrive without any surprises.
We walk around with our appendages constantly crossed.
Our friends and family were with us the entire year.
We went to see some while other's came to us.
I don't have photos of everyone we saw in 2011.
But know that we cherished every visit and card and phone call.
Thank you for your unyielding support during this stressful time for our daughter.
Thank you to Make A Wish for making our daughter's dream come true.
Thank you to everyone who helped us see the dream arrive on that gorgeous August afternoon.
If you haven't met the horse yet, please come by to say hello to her.
But be mindful to bring a carrot along.  She's a hungry girl.
Thank you to our friends in Chicago whose son/nephew/grandson is also suffering through cancer.
They are as supportive of us in heart and soul as we are to them.
We are reminded day in and day out that time is fleeting and always changing and we shouldn't take our children for granted.
Thank you to Zoe's medical team.  Her doctors have kept her alive and her nurses are a constant source of support for us.
Thank you to all and may your days ahead be full of self reflection as well.
