Dial-up the farm...

I thought I may as well enter the 21st Century and try a blog. I'm not even sure what to do with a blog other than to post my strange (and sometimes rather dull) life online for all to see.

Why not, I thought? It gives me something to do and another reason for me to yell to the children "leave me alone for awhile!"

I got an iPhone last March and even have a Facebook page. Twittering I just don't get at all even though I have glanced at it. The online community is rather vast and life on a rural American farm is somewhat eventful, so why not share the world I lead with others? Are you still awake? Good...

The title of my blog hints at the things that are going on in my life currently. I have two daughters, one who is still in diapers and doesn't seem to like the neato potty chair we bought her, instead wishing to pee on her feet while standing next to said neato potty.

We have pets, 2 dogs and 3 cats, and hope to stock our farm in the future with various farm animals. The various farm animals will start to be collected when everyone in the human home starts to pee in the potty on a regular basis.

We live in a very rural area: we are surrounded by woods, corn and soybean fields, horse trails and not a lot of people. Just the way my husband and I like it. My husband and I met in the big city to the north of us, home to world class shopping, thai food and major league sports teams. We lived there for a decade and a half, even brought a child into the world there. It's our first home and we want to make sure our rural children experience it often.

Well folks, there you have it. I hope to get a picture posted on my blog soon, but since I am in the land of dial-up, it took to long to upload and I gave up to try another day...
