Now...eh, I don't real...I WAS a social worker. Now...eh, I don't really want to work with people....prefer plants and fabric. :) I would love to get paid for doing the things I love: growing fruits, veggies, and nuts, and creating things with fabric/fiber.

Brian and I was just talking about when we build a new home what our plans would be for the old farm house. I said we should open a country store, sell produce from our yard, including fruits, veggies, eggs, honey, nuts, jams, jellies, dried fruit, etc. I can also have a sewing shop set up where I sell fabrics, quilts, etc. I would love to have a classroom setting where I teach classes about homesteading: soap and candle making, raising honeybees, harvesting honey, sewing skills, gardening, etc. Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17086255290775238258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8042812243722741252.post-46848489469022051692013-03-23T17:58:56.960-05:002013-03-23T17:58:56.960-05:00I often ask Michael, "What should I be when I...I often ask Michael, "What should I be when I grow up?" Sometimes I get in a panic when other people have careers and hold onto to them for years. I worry that I am getting passed by in the world and won't be ready for anything...that I should be using my time to take classes or something. Usually, I figure out in not too much time that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing: Being a Mom and Wife and serving the people who come into my path. Promise to remind me of this when I am having "one of those moments"????

Being an artist sounds frightening to me! As does being a dancer! Glad there are people who do both though!
